Important improvements in the logistical management were made in 2003. The warehouses in Santa Anita were centralized, national inventories were reduced to 2.5 months, and nearly $.200,000 was saved through changes in working capital, while at the time meeting the goals for customer service set for the year.
The CDDK has the capacity to hold 5,600 pallets and attend to an average of 11,500 orders placed monthly by clients in Lima and in our six branches nationwide. The branches include redistribution platforms and storage facilities that give us greater flexibility to respond to unforeseen events.
The CDDK has recieved the Better Storage Practices (BPA) certificate from the Health Ministry's General Health Board since 2000, which has been renewed each year. CDDK is interconnected - through a dedicated line - to our administrative areas and the branch offices. |
